Macintosh

  • Devia has announced their first Chapter of CocoaHeads in Belgium. CocoaHeads is a group devoted to discussion of Apple Computer’s Cocoa Framework for programming on MacOS X and iPhone. During monthly meetings, members present on their projects and offer tutorials on various programming topics.
  • iPresentee has released iWeb Themes for Business 5.0 for Apple’s Web site building application. Version 5.0 includes five new excellent themes: Beauty, Solid, Furniture, Lite and Trade. Each iWeb Theme for Business includes eleven templates instead of ordinary eight. The new release extends iPresentee’s iWeb themes collection up to fifty themes. With iWeb Themes for Business, a website can be built in minutes and published on the web.
  • Ambrosia Software has announced the release of Soundboard 1.0.3. Like cart machines in broadcast radio studios, Soundboard lets users map sound effects, audio clips, or musical accompaniment to keys on the Mac keyboard, easily triggered with a single tap. Due to popular demand, they are continuing their special upgrade pricing option “Does your software Byte? Version 3.2 adds world-ready phone formatting; new SMS email address options, linked note support in Daylite, match detection in Entourage, and a new post processing option. WhoPaste can create contacts in Apple’s Address Book, Daylite, Google’s Contacts and Entourage.

  • Boom Brigade is a combination of three game play mechanics: top-down shooter, tower defense, and line drawing. The game is topped up with fierce invading aliens and three different types of tough and heroic troopers. The player is given the command of a brigade poised to take what ever the horde of aliens can throw at them. The goal is simple: Defend the bunker for as long as possible. Boom Brigade features three classes: minigun troopers, shotgun troopers and bazooka troopers. Any combination of classes can be used when assembling the squad. The player starts with one trooper and receives reinforcements and health kits as the alien attack continues. Weapon upgrades and bunker repairs can be bought with the loot the player collects from the aliens.
